of Salvation to Nations Ministries in Kitale, Kenya

Pastor Peter Kuyuni

Pastor

Pastor Kuyuni is the Founder and Pastor of Salvation to Nations Ministries, Hope's House Kenya orphanages, and Hope and Light Academy, in Kitale, Kenya, as well as the overseer of 10 churches, 20 pastors, 100 orphans, and 20 widows. He is an author and teacher and has been called by God to work mightily among the poor, widowed, orphaned, and destitute of his native Kenya. God has miraculously saved and healed him, and is using him mightily, simply because he was willing to be used by the Lord and surrendered to Him and Him alone. We believe his teachings will bless and encourage you and show you that nothing, truly, is impossible for those who believe! MY TESTIMONY I received Jesus while 17 years old on January 1, 1995. Before then, I had served the devil from childhood, as an alcoholic drinker, bung smoker, a thief, a fighter, and a despiser. But Jesus redeemed me from all these by cleansing my sins, healing me from chronic nose bleeding, removed me from poverty, so I am here to testify of God's works! Initially, I did not know how to pray, but I managed to make a vow and told God if He delivers me from that distress, then I was to serve Him completely, without going back in my sins. I told Him that if He changes my case in court, then I will serve Him forever. Let me tell you that you can speak to God in a simple way, and He can answer your prayer! Reading the Bible is not like reading a storybook. I learned that we need to transform the written word into the living word. I started reading the Gospels of Luke, then John, Matthew, and Mark. Then I started a journey of reading the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation for a span of two years. Today, I perceive in copying my ministry from Jesus, no other person. While still a sinner, I experienced some strongholds from generations which I was born into. These were cultures, tribal doctrines, and inheritance of sin, like alcoholic addiction, etc. They pulled me into sins many times, but when I received Jesus, I repented from all of them and was made clean. In my spiritual life, I managed to do extraordinary things through prayer and fasting. I prayed for the sick people, mental disturbed people, casting out devils, and God responded to my prayers. MY VISION FOR MINISTRY: To be a community in Christ...reaching the nations with the true Gospel and compassion activities. VISION STATEMENT To establish a strong prayer center To care for orphans and widows To plant churches and establish them To start a Bible school To help the less fortunate people in the society To reach the nations with the Gospel of Jesus To do discipleship MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to fulfill the Great Commission, Matthew 28:19_20. To help people experience Christ, rather than man's created religion, so that they can take the true Gospel to the nations. Our goal is to partner with Kingdom-minded ministries, showing the love of our Lord Jesus to oppressed people by helping them where we can. "And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail" Isaiah 58:10-11. CURRENT CHALLENGES: 1: I have ten churches and twenty pastors under my mentorship. One of the churches is large and is in the middle of my hometown, Kitale. The space we use is on a rental basis; we pay $300 per month. 2: The churches need instruments to fit the challenge the current ministry has. 3: We are caring for 100 orphans, who need our support daily. (Many of whom were orphaned by HIV/AIDS or political violence). We still need to help 100 more orphans who live in our location in our near future, if God provides. (If you would like to help them or sponsor a child, please go to www.hopeshousekenya.org.) 4: In our churches, we have a total of 20 widows under our care. We need to help 20 more widows, if God provides. 5: In our monthly hospital and prison missions, we need more donations of soap, Bibles, and food. 6: As we evangelize in Kenya’s remote areas, we meet so many needy people lacking clothes, food, treatments, etc. 7: We have three conferences per year in our ministry: April, August, and December. We pray that you God's people would come to minister in one of the conferences.
